And I want to hear more information from Natlaw. You said that you were keeping your name under wraps because it might be relevant for a counterclaim situation. But it works both ways: This is a counterclaim situation. We don’t know if we can trust you, and one of the ways we can come to that decision is by hearing your claim and seeing if anyone counterclaims. I’d also like to learn how your power works, that you’re confident that a Scum godfather-type would not show up as a hobbit. In other words, I would like for you to quote or paraphrase your role PM, and we can decide from there where to go, and what other information (if any) to ask for.
cool, i kind of like it when someone votes me for me calling them out on their weak sauce. and the good thing about this one is that i won’t even have worry about ascribing it to poor townie play. because you are too good for that (or at least you used to be).
so hoop i gather you are still voting me for calling you out on your b.s. or is there another reason? kind of a veiled omgys type of vote, which to be honest i don’t have a real problem with (the omgys not the defensiveness surrounding waffles).
and meeko is voting for me for heaven knows what reason. i guess he thinks i was fishing when i suggested that nat, if she had additional information which she has already alluded to, that she should cough it up in case she died during the Night.

i’d still like to hear more from nat and astral because i think there might be a connection that may run through this game.
and i’d dearly like to hear back from wanderer regarding that late vote shift and the reasoning behind it. see the most part of Day one he is parked on astral. then he makes a late move to burb followed by a later move to chippy. hey, things were fluid, so what the hey, right?
and then on Day 2 he flips from astral to ed at the last minute to change the lynch (mhaye gets an assist on this, by the way). and i don’t normally look at vote patterns that closely but when they jump out like this i mean even i have to take notice.
but read 1131. that’s where he finally moves off of burb. near as i can tell we are at about ninety minutes to lynching time. it’s also where he states that he thinks that ed is vt.
and so he moves off astral on the basis of nat’s last minute information to a person that he has already stated that he thinks is vt. and he causes the lynch of a townie.
read my posts. i was convinced that ed was town for reasons that i have already stated. now i am sure scum will pipe up and say something along the lines of you knew because you are scum. well they, of course, would be wrong. shit if i were scum then all i would have known was that he was not scum, crud he could have been third party if i were scum for all i would know. but i knew he was town and did not need to be killed.
and fucking nat hasn’t claimed to be a detective as near as i can tell. she claimed to know the alignment of another player and one that she doesn’t trust (or some such nonsense). fuck i did the same thing and you folks decided to kill him none the less. and that was a play that was initiated by mhaye and wanderer.
crap, apparantly she has an investigation that she doesn’t want to share and she popped in late in the Day with the whopper bomb. what up with that? and what up with last Night?
holy crap, i think middle earth is going to be fucked.
He said that he knew Astral was Town because he investigated him, which implies that he’s an investigator. And his other investigation he said didn’t produce useful information. Yes, this is vague, and the timing sucked, but that’s why I’ve already said I want more information from Natlaw. You can hardly blame Wanderers for reacting to an odd play by Natlaw: It looks to me like the best decision he could have made in the face of the situation.

Back to the game! Let’s answer some questions.
@Red Skeezix: I didn’t claim because I have nothing to claim. I’m vanilla town. If I had said that, would it have changed anyone’s mind? I also wasn’t around for much of the last day. I can still toss out my name if you’d like. I’ll wait to see if that’s what folks want.
@Special Ed: I"m sorry you were lynched. I was focused (too focused?) on your scummy behavior, and I missed what town signs were there. Lesson learned for next game.
@Peeker: You asked if I know anything that would cause me to believe Natlaw. Besides him being correct? I am indeed a hobbit. Does that answer your question?
Why, are you afraid we have an unfair advantage? I’m not sure anyone really knows what’s balanced any more, and even if we can come up with what we think is balanced, that doesn’t mean that Mahaloth thought the same way we did. But the fact that they managed to kill the Doctor so easily suggests that they’re likely to have a role-blocker (I expect that Natlaw will also report being blocked), godfathers are extremely common, Scum investigators are relatively common, and they might have more goons, too. I think that we should plan with the assumption that they might have any of those. There might also be some Town roles or game mechanics which benefit the Scum, too: The existence of a Miller, for instance, would help the Scum, as would a role that hurt Town somehow if it died (like the day of mourning when Harry Potter died). And then, of course, there’s the Ring, assuming it exists, and who knows which side that’ll help.
I thought my meaning here was clear. If Nat is on the up and up then Astral is confirmed town. Ed wasn’t my choice but the only way ot save Astral was to switch to Ed. Clear?
And on further thought what I was doing was c;ear. Clear enough for Chronos, and I do not think peeker is a dummy. this means I have ot question his motivation both for this and for trying to undermine Nat before we even hear back from him
