Please… now you’re just being flippant. You make an assertion based on information which no one else has without sharing that info and then you claim that this is being clear?!
If you have been, then it hasn’t been on behalf of Town. From your play, you’re either a hard-working Scum, or a half-assed Town.
Your response to Guiri just said that the two (your case against me and your trust of Diver) were connected, without giving any clue as to what the connection was, what your case against me was, or what your reason for trusting Diver was. You not only didn’t answer either question, you raised another one. And your response to me completely ignored the proven evidence that I knew on Day 1 that Gadarene was Aragorn, which was the the main thrust of my questions, and also ignored your own argument from way back that ed must be Town because the name he was claiming was related to someone else in the game.
But enough of that; I’m tired of talking about peeker. I also have some questions about MHaye and his Frodo claim:
First of all, you haven’t yet survived to the beginning of Night 6. This is currently Day 6, and we just finished Night 5. Was this a typo, or did Mahaloth screw up the timing?
Second, how in the world could you have died? If wearing the Ring protected you from Night actions (presumably that includes the kill, since there’s no other action you’d need protection from), and you obviously wouldn’t be lynched if you claimed Frodo, it looks to me like you should have been guaranteed to survive as long as you needed to destroy the Ring. Was there some drawback to using it?
I am apparently limited in how many characters my signature can be *including *VB coding. So I’ll have to cut out Days and Nights from the beginning as we progress from here on out (hopefully not much longer!!)
For 6 read 5. It’s a typo. I apologise for the resultant confusion.
Firstly, I could not use it every Night; it had only two charges, and I needed to survive four Nights.
Secondly, I don’t know. I believed they had something, though, or my role would prove blatantly unfair to SAHM. We know one; Gollum could find me whether I was wearing the Ring or not, but that doesn’t help SAHM directly. If I’d claimed on Day 3, Gollum would have had two Nights to steal the Ring from me.
My role is also why I believed Natlaw’s claim that he learned the name of a player he tracked that did not take a Night action; if he tracked me on a Night I was not hiding, he’d have learned my name. That’s another Night action I needed protection from.
Then we come to speculation. So far, none of SAHM have been Nazgul. It’s well established, canonically, that Nazgul can see Frodo while he’s wearing the Ring (but find it difficult to get a fix on him otherwise.) Suppose the missing minion is the Witch-King of Angmar? He’d make a good roleblocker, but might have a secondary power that if he blocks me on a Night I wear the Ring, I get killed. Or recruited - remember, the Witch-King wielded the Morgul-knife that nearly turned Frodo into a wraith under the Witch-Kings command?
Finally, I considered it faintly possible that SAHM may have had a Daykill.
The point is we don’t know what SAHM could have done, and I chose to assume that the answer was not “nothing.”
Oh, I should also add that the palantir I currently have does not give me a name: All I learned about Hoopy was that he was sleeping. My working hypothesis is that the Town palantir and the Scum one both work the same way, and that Natlaw just made that part up. Certainly he made up the part about detecting race (given that Treebeard couldn’t possibly be mistaken for any of those races), and if he was making up parts of his claim anyway, it doesn’t seem too farfetched that he’d have made up the name part, too.
By which line of reasoning, I am too. And your inane crypto-mason claim still wouldn’t account for thinking that USCDiver is Town, or that Wanderers or I am Scum.
