That’s easy: If Town decides to lynch someone, it’s guaranteed that they won’t survive the Night. That looks like pretty strong influence, to me.

Upon having the time to actually re-read a bazillion posts, I figured out that I misinterpreted at least a portion of what happened with ed. I’m still suspicious of the magic bag stuff, especially its timing, but I no longer think he lied about his role name. I just got confused by the wording in one of his posts. I was trying to get through the thread and potentially change my vote before I went to bed, without having to stay up until midnight to do so, and I read too fast.

And if he flips town, I think those who voted him won’t and shouldn’t be automatically chastised. There’s bound to be scum on that bandwagon (even if scum, there’s bound to be scum on that wagon at this point), but a claim like that combined with his actions toDay scream scum and you can’t fault town too much for the vote. I disagree with it, but I seem to be in the minority.

No. I’m just saying that a reaction of “OMG, you voted town power role you must be scum!” is overreacting. There are legitimate reasons for a townie to vote plankton. I disagree that they should apply now, but I see the reasoning. Normally I would be raising Hell about voting a power role Day 1.
