A little anxious, peek?
Sleep was fleeting. Their will and confidence were weak, but the Alliance of Light did rest and prepared(mentally) for the next Day.
“One, we should focus. Two, we should avoid wasteful discussion. Three, we must analyze our allies,” said one Alliance member.
“Who are our allies?” said another.
“Those who desire to see Sauron dead…..and his minions,” said another.
As they reassembled in the morning, a key member of the Alliance was missing.
“Where is Legolas, the elf?”
A loud gasp was heard nearby, “He’s here!”
Legolas lay unmoving in a field of grass. His body was cold.
“He must have died in the Night,” said one individual.
**Telconatar, who was Legolas is dead. He was known for his use of bow and daggers and was considered a protector of the Alliance of Light.***
It is now Day Two. Day Two ends Thursday, August 26 at Noon Eastern.
*He was a standard doctor role and could protect one player per Night.
a bit nervous i admit. actually i just across something that reinforced a ping. and i’d like to share but don’t know if i will be alive.
Well, that sucks.
NETA: I mean that the doc is dead.
how come this reads as totally disjointed to me.
one of these things is not like the other.
whoops, wrong post, sorry folks. back in a bit.
well almost deja-vu (harry potter).
Oh yeah.
For dropping and retrieving a weakly motivated defensive vote (on USCDiver) for Suburban Plankton.

Ok, if Mod says so, I SO thought that Day Two started Sunday.
NETA : Telcontar has a knack for going out first day, doesn’t he?
Not to mention that he has a kanck for being a doctor, as well.
With Plankton now dead, I see no reason not to resume my vote on special ed.
Vote special ed
This is based primarily on his vote for peeker yesterDay:
First, there’s no evidence that peeker didn’t have a vanilla role PM, since he wisely didn’t say whether he had one or not, so ed is jumping to unwarranted conclusions, here. Second, not having the vanilla PM is hardly a reason to vote for someone, since the Town power roles don’t have it, either. Third, we’ve already come to an agreement that the Scum probably do have the vanilla PM, so the fact that (ed thinks) peeker doesn’t have the vanilla PM should make him think peeker is Town, not Scum. There are just multiple layers of incoherence, here.
Then, after I called him out on this, he comes up with a new argument: He thinks peeker is Scum because he’s playing differently than he did last time he was Scum. When I point out that this isn’t a good argument, either, he tries to claim that that was his original reason for voting, even though he didn’t mention it in his vote post, or at all, until after I pointed out that his original argument was bad.
Put this together with the fact that he didn’t unvote me once he realized his case on me was bad, and didn’t even admit that when he switched to peeker, it looks to me like he’s picking his targets first (both myself and peeker have had a history of it being easy to form bandwagons on us), and only then looking around for excuses to justify the votes.
On another note: I find it slightly surprising that we only had one death last Night: With this many players, this game is going to take friggin’ forever, without some extra kills. It’s possible, of course that we have a serial killer or Vig who can and did choose not to kill, or that we have multiple killers who chose the same target, or that Telcontar successfully protected someone else, or that a roleblocker blocked a killer, but still, I would have expected two or even three deaths.
Ouch. Sorry, Telcontar. I knew I trusted you for a reason.
FOS Chipacapra and Astral Rejection – I’ll gig some thoughts a bit later today.
**Alive:
Dead:**
Suburban Plankston – Denethor (Servant of Darkness – No special power)
Telcontar – Legolas (Alliance of Light – Protector)
ok, this is what happens when i become too myopically focused.
i read the two posts as both coming from wanderers initially. c’mon they both start with “o”. shoot, my bad. but cripes you folks can get mouthy and stuff.
hey, ed you alluded to something upthread that you couldn’t talk about.
this really piques my interest. and i don’t want you to say something that you shouldn’t or can’t but i really would like some elaboration, if in fact you can provide it.
plus i seem to recall that you have claimed two role names (or someone said it). one that was original and then your final one. this REALLY piques my interest.
any additional data would be appreciated.
and if it is what i think it is i am going to laugh my ass to the bank.
well almost deja-vu (harry potter).

That’s a fair vote, Red. I can’t defend it against it. With Suburban swinging as a scum, that’s definitely one valid interpretation of my actions.
I’m heading out for now, but I’ll be back later. I’m not exactly looking forward to reviewing all of this 26-page monstrosity, but it’s gotta be done.
… shoulda bleached that. Sorry Mahaloth. I’m not actually voting against myself!
I love you guys
I take that back.
