Awesome, “Book of Secrets” is a fantastic cd. If this one is anywhere near as good, it will definitely be worthwhile.
While I’m a fan and realize she has this need to keep exploring other flavors of music, I wish she’d make one more CD like her first two.
She’s great live by the way; highly recommended in concert!
Oh yes, Parallel Dreams and Elemental are fantastic, I ordered them directly from her store a year ago and each came with a DVD with her little documentary “No Jurney´s End”, very nice!
I would love to attend a concert, the recordings on his live double album are excellent, however I´m way too far away from her usual tour locations.
I hope I´ll get the opportunity to attend one of her performances one day.
Thank you for the tip! I’m a long-time Loreena fan, have seen her in concert and met her after the show. She’s very sweet, very nice. One of the many things I love about her is that she’s always been an independent artist. She’s never been on a major label. She started her own company to release her music (Quinlan Road) and is still doing that, though now she has distribution deals with a couple of major labels.
I was a bit disappointed to learn that none of the older albums will ever be released in 5.1, but the possibility exists that future albums will.
She’s a very kind, giving person too. Here’s are a few reasons why it’s been so long since her last album (from the web site):
I believe that one of those killed in the boating accident was her fiancé.
Wow, her private life has always been somewhat of a mystery - one never heard of any significant other. Belated condolences to Loreena.
