Los Angeles Foodie Question

mrAru was wisting after a restaurant in LA of the past called the Iranian Shish Kebab House, that closed [because the head cook and his staff apparently walked out] back in the 1970s. I know it is a long shot, but he was wondering if they all settled in a different kitchen or split up, and if they stayed together [for certain values of together] and are still cooking somewhere. He remembers the name of the cook was Parris.

I cant find any mention of that particular resident but LA is home to more Persians than anywhere outside of Iran. Here is a list of modern Persian restaurants that he might be interested in.

From the 70s? By now they’d all be retirement aged at best, and dead at worst.

Since we are on the other side of teh country, we eat here =) but thanks =)

True, but they might have had kids that went into the trade and have some of the recipes =)
