Goddamn, “Lost” pissed me off.
Why anyone would put that on their car is beyond me. Memory of that show should just be allowed to die.
Be moar bitter, it wasa a great show and should live forever!
I was in the store the other day when I overheard a six year old kid singing the Scooby Doo theme song. I was five years old when the show came out. They’ll probably continue to rerun them long after I’m dead.
Every so often I hear a noise that reminds me of “the smoke monster” noise and it creeps me out. Not in my house or anything, but in movies or TV, or even out in the world.
It was a great cultural event, that’s for certain!
Lost made me swear to skip everything any of the producers ever does.
Not a “LOST” thing, but something I’ll bet many people will recognize. I was at a stop light one day and happened to notice the license plate on the car in front of me:

My wife and I both just cracked up when we saw that.
I completely “Lost” all interest in “Lost” when I figured out who was going to get off the island alive. After that, there was no point in watching it for me.
You’re missing out on something special with The Leftovers, in that case.
I have the smoke monster flashback a lot, because it’s Hollywood’s go-to noise for monsters, dinosaurs, etc.
