Lost - is everyone a killer?

So because Mahaloth answered instead, the killings he pointed out never happened? Perhaps the OP can confirm so we’ll all be sure.

I don’t really think it’ll do you any good, but if you really want me to walk you through this -

OP says - "Have all of the main characters killed someone? "

  • Lists characters who have *
    **
    I say - “You left out X Y and Z”
    **
Someone with poor reading comprehension skills says - “Those people quite obviously have, and I’m going to spend a few minutes listing who and when because I have time to kill. Either you know that or I’m a total dolt and misread everything in the thread up to this point. Are you serious?”
    **
Me - Yes I’m serious. Refer to the OP and maybe it’ll make more sense(Notice how I mistakenly forgot to say they were a dolt with poor reading comprehension here)
    **
    You - HUH?
    **
Me - Hi, I’m a twerp and I have more time to kill answering the wrong question you posed rather than explaining myself because I think it’s really obvious and not that vague and I’m really not that bad at communicating and you all should stop just skimming and interrogating me.

Well…Gentle Robot just killed this thread.

May want to reconsider this point.

First, my comments were based on the “good vs. bad” list that must have been completed within days of the crash… niether of those two events had happened yet.

second, Juliet broke an obvious rule, and the results were immediately known and dealt with… it’s likely that they (Ben and the others) aren’t even aware of John’s actions at this point.

But Hurley would… and again, basing it on pre-island events not post. Secondly, Hurley’s flashback when he tried to make 815 would indicate a massive amount of work to ensure he didn’t make the flight. (especially true if you consider that some of the occumpants of 815 to have been picked in advance)

Also, while Jin’s actions have not been shown to directly have caused the deaths of any, one could argue that his profession certainly led him down the dark (bad) path.

I’m the OP. Thank you, Gentle Robot, for listing those three killers.

Also, thanks to **Mahaloth **for remoinding us who they killed.
And please don’t trade any further insults, the moderators won’t like it.

It’s just occurred to me.

As well as being killers, everyone seems to have serious issues with their father.

Jack - father was a drunkard, botched operation, Jack wanted to report him, etc.
Hurley - Father abandoned him, came back when he won the money
Kate - killed her father
Locke - Father stole his kidney and crippled him
Sawyer - Father killed his mother then himself
Kim & Sun have issues with Sun’s father

etc…
