Me too. I proudly paid even when I wasn’t posting as much, because I believed in the site (and still do).
The money I have saved by asking questions here more than made up for the money I spent for a membership, but it would be nice if they’d fix things.

I don’t know how it all happened (the loss of “charter member” and all), but I’m thinking it’s probably gonna be a Herculean effort to put everyone back where they were.
I am guessing we all need to be patient for a while longer while this all gets sorted out.
In the meantime maybe we could all just look at a person’s post count to realize that more than likely, they are “charter”.

OK. so what’s the final result supposed to be? (for all general folks, not the admins, etc.)
As I understood things, after the change to free posting,
Former Charter Members will remain Charter Members
Former non-paying Members who came back (like me) will be Members
Will former paying Members will be Members or Charter Members?
My understand is that if you ever let your paid subscription lapse, you lose your Charter Member status.
Add me to the list of folks who lost “charter memebr” status.

I always have been a Charter Member because I joined when the Board went to paid subscriptions. It’s the only title I’ve ever known under my username.
