There are already a handful of spoilers out there for the first episode–The Beginning of the End–and it’s supposed to center on…
(serious spoilers below!)
…Hurley.
And there’s supposed to be some stuff about this brilliant mathematician Russell and this cold evil villain type Arthur Stevens and something about the Dharma van and I have no idea. Honest.
Episode 2’s called “Confirmed Dead” and focuses on the freighter people; episode 3’s called “The Economist” and centers on Sayid with a flashforward. Episode 4 is maybe Kate-centric and episode 5 is possibly Desmond-centric (apparently we’ll find out what he did to get booted out of the army) and episode 6 is supposed to be Juliet-centric.
Episode 7’s called “Ji Yeon” and focuses on Sun / Jin–with another flashforward, and possibly a funeral. And Episode 8 might be …Michael-centric!
You’ve got that right!
For example the short cut of Locke pointing the gun at Ben saying “Goodbye Benjamen” looks like Locke is going to finally kill Ben.
But when it airs it’s probably just Locke saying goodbye to Ben because he’s trying to leave the island.
That is correct. The “You want to know why we are here?” character is played by Ken Leung. I do know who the characters are, Davies’ character is “Daniel Faraday” and Leung’s character is “Miles Russell” but thought that info may be a bit too spoilery.
Is anyone else having trouble getting the Missing Pieces videos to play from the ABC site? I can get the trailer and other videos to display fine on the main Lost page, but this page just shows “your video is loading” no matter what I do.
A friend of mine noticed at the end of the new trailer when it shows the graphic LOST: The Return over a picture of the island, the reflection in the water of the island is actually a city skyline.
Has this always been like this?
Pointless observation: the music from the first 25 seconds is from A Silver Mount Zion song called “Tho you are gone I still walk”. I thought it was weird because it’s a pretty obscure piece of music, and didn’t especially fit with the action on screen.
The new season of Law & Order is also scheduled to premiere in January. No idea why they held it back so long, and also no idea whether they started production before the writers’ strike.
