“It is a silly place.”
“I got better.”
“Nuke it from orbit.”
“Ah’ll be bahk.”

There’s a line spoken by Sheriff Pat Garrett (William Petersen) in **Young Guns II **that I find myself using a lot in real life:
“Encumbered by idjits, we pressed on.”
If I’m attempting to demonstrate something for someone, and it just doesn’t work, I do the Heath Ledger Joker pose and go “Ta-Dah!”
ETA: Oh, and there’s a scene on Babylon 5, where two characters are having to spend several weeks alone together riding in a cargo transport to Mars, and one of them just won’t stop annoying the other. Finally, the annoyed guy declares “And that’s when I shot him, your honor!”
So I rework that slightly, and when someone is about to do something remarkably stupid in my presence, I say “And that’s when the dorm caught fire, Sergeant.”
I remember that. Thank you - you just made my day. Great line.
“It goes to eleven.”
"Visiting? Visiting?"
“Eh, he’s drunk.”
