The Third Grys?
I’ll be in tonight, but probably not till about 730 PST. I’ll bring in Drano.
The Third Gry - we should be singular. 
You can look for me on as Mithgalad, Druga, or Brindor. Brindor is now relegated to crafting and can usually be found in Bree when he’s not resource huntin. Druga will be there soon and will tend a farm near Michael Delving. Mithgalad is paired with my wife’s character, an elven hunter named Amortentia, and I’m not allowed to outlevel her. I’ll start up something else soon enough.
Skaralin the Dwarf Champion is level 8 and was last seen hunting Vale Prowlers.
Ithelneth is up to level 7 (Elf Minstrel) and still wandering about Ered Luin. I’m playing extra cautious, to try to get the badges for not dying. Expect me to runaway like a little girl. 
I like “The Third Gry”. Tolkien would appreciate the linguistic humor.
I’m mostly on from about 5-6pm PT.
So was I, until Skaralin fell off a mountain. 
Probably won’t be on tonight - have to attend a wine tasting where I can’t drink because I’m driving. Bleh. I usually can survive until level 5, but only once past 10. Very hard to take on 2 of anything at once regardless of class (some low hit-point mobs are an exception). Even a swarm of light blue / green can be a problem.
Looks like we have a vague consensus on The Third Gry. I will establish a kinship with this tonight. I will try to send invites to the names in this thread. I hope we don’t have to be online to extend invites to people…
I’ll try and jump on about 630 pst. I think invites can only go out to online characters.
I’ve got an elven hunter named Penros on Silverlode, level 8 I think. I’ll be on tonight around 6 pst if you want to send an invite (and I heartily support the name ‘The Third Gry’).
You don’t have to be near a kinship recorder to join one do you? (at least I think there is a NPC who does that - I’m guessing only the founder needs to talk to him/her)
I’m at level 11 without dying with about 8 deeds in progress (just completed 20 quests in Ered Luin)
I’ll try to be on, but “Lost” is on at 9pm local (7pm pacific)

I should be on tonight from 7:30 Eastern until whenever. We were supposed to have a dinner guest but he had to postpone.
ETA: I really should roll up a Minstrel. Don’t think “Lute Skywatcher” is very LOTR-ish though.

You cannot invite non-online players. We have to have 6 members withing 24 hours or it gets disbanded. I will try and stay on until around 9 Central Time. Send a tell to Ulfwald to get your invitation.

I finally was defeated at level 11. I was mashing keys and nothing was happening.
about a minute later 50 attacks were exchanged. I lost.
Having doene that I decided to explore some of the map extremes. Went up the Lune as far as one can go. Unfortunately there are a bunch of yellow (lvl 14 or so) spiders in the area. Tried avoiding them, but one got me.

The full version of the game came with a 10-day “buddy key” free trial to give to someone. Send me an email if you are interested in checking out a pretty neat game.
I tried it out during the open beta. I enjoyed it well enough to get the pre-order, then the day I upgraded my beta account I got my federal taxes back. So there went 200 bucks. This thing better last at least 2 years!
I have a 15th level Dwarf Guardian on Silverlode. I can’t remember his name right now, I am on pain meds for oral surgery. I will try and get a hold of someone when I am on again to get in The Third Gry.
ETA: I remembered! Loksgrim is his name. Not original, but easy to put with my name here.
