Lotus Notes Question

If those familiar with Lotus Notes: Is there any way to make ALL incoming emails appear in the “Inbox”? It seems many of my new emails can only be found when I look in under “All Documents”.

I’m new to Lotus Notes…could it be just me experiencing this? Thanks (in advance) for the help!

I’m not sure if this will help, but I use Lotus Notes and ALL of my e-mails first appear in the Inbox. The only time that I experienced a situation similar to yours is when my company’s e-mail was down for a while. After that, all recovered messages appeared only in the All Documents folder.

If you have Notes R5, click on your “Rules” folder (it should be somewhere below your inbox. You may have some rukes that are automatically deleting your mail or moving it to other folders.

I had a similar problem a while back when we upgraded the version we use at work. On the old version, I had my mail being sorted, then installed the new one. It came up with no rules in sight, but continued to sort new mail. I didn’t discover that there were no rules until I went to change one. One of our Notes wizards talked about ‘agents’ in Notes (something about running on the server, IIRC), but couldn’t find anything. Eventually he had me clear out that Rules directory and start fresh.

And then there’s the time all of my Inbox disappeared, with the messages only showing in All Docs…
