I saw an episode the other night where they did a spoof of Rebecca, and it just confirmed how much I love this show.
My favorite recurring bit is the guy selling lethal recreational opportunities:
Customer: I mean, I won’t get hurt, right?
Salesman: You won’t? Oh, that’s good.
Other fun bits off the top of my head - the torture-victim counselor house hunting, what to name newly discovered lands, and cast advice on how to break up with your girlfriend.
I can personally do without Sir Digby Chicken Caesar, but even so, I do like his name, and his theme song makes me chuckle.
Seen it just a few times, but liked it so far. If I can remember when it’s on, I watch it. So far it’s just been, “Oh, look, that show’s on. Let’s watch.” It is funny.
David Mitchell has piqued my interest lately (I’ve seen him in random things) so I will have to seek this show out. I’ve been meaning to see some more of his stuff.
I agree about Sir Digby Chicken Ceasar being a weak point.
Almost everyting else always makes me laugh, though. Although I wish they wouldn’t spoil jokes that are coming up in 10 minutes in order to keep us from flipping away during the ads.
