How about Yello? This Mortal Coil works, too (tired of Dead can Dance-- too long in grad school studying art–there’s no escape from it there), and I’ve recently discovered The Damned. The CDs that are ALWAYS in the machine right now, though are the last few Elliot Smith things, so I do lots of things to those. The good Reverend Horton Heat if I’m feeling goofy.
When I was younger, I listened to Samhain or early Danzig, or Type O Negative. Love the deep evil voices.
