Best Songs To Have Sex To

What musical artist can really put you in the mood for sex?
Or rather what artist “enhances” your pleasure while doing it?

I would have to vote for Barry White or my all time favorite Prince!

Katchaturian Sabre Dance
Entry of the Gladiators

Both of those songs are likely to cause rug burns during the act.

hmmm… I like

Orff’s “Carmina Burana”… especially O Fortuna

and

Also Sprach Zarathustra by Richard Strauss
they really speak to my “inner greatness”…

Either Zamfir or The Beastie Boys.

Most definately Portishead or Fiona Apple…but especially Portishead. All that record scratch makes me kinda tingly.

NIN “Closer”…if only for that line (you know that one)

Barry White is so cliche’.

Play what ever the both of you like. Keep in mind, if you do it right you may want to consider upgrading to a 6 disc changer

speaking of “Closer” by NIN… check out W.A.S.P.'s “Animal (Fuck Like a Beast)”

kind of a theme song…

The first Enimga CD. You can actually plan a whole seduction around it.

Nahtanoj

We actually vary according to mood.

The, um, shall we say, claws and teeth and whips and stuff goes industrial - NIN, Razed in Black sorta stuff

Or it can be as gentle as Wolfsheim’s “Kein Zuruck”

“Dark Side of the Moon”, of course.

No sex music has ever been better, or will ever be better, than Massive Attack’s album Mezzanine. Spectacular nekkid music.

“999 green bottles sitting on the wall”

From the Travels album, the Pat Metheny Group’s Are You Going With Me?

Dark Side of the Moon? hmm…yes, I can Imagine copulating like an epileptic carp during ‘Any Colour You Like’…

Tommy the Cat by Primus

How can you beat a line like “she came slidin’ on down the alleyway like butter drippin’ off a hot biscuit.”?

Songs? You need a good album. Although I’ve got good memories of some things that happened after Gov’t Mule’s version of Catfish Blues.

Douglas Adams talks at length in So Long, And Thanks For All the Fish about some Dire Straits album, I’ve always wondered which one that was.

Actually, Massive Attack’s new album 100th Window is a better soundtrack for sex, but, unlike Mezzanine, it isn’t really any good for anything other than mood music.

As far as single songs go, the instrumental version of Furious Angel by Rob Dougan (its on the Matrix soundtrack, if you want to check it out) is pretty damn good.

Singles:
Don’t Let Go (Love) - En Vogue
You’re Making Me High - Toni Braxton
Astounded - Van Bran 3000
I’m So Excited - The Pointer Sisters
Crazy On You - Heart
