LP Owners: Which LP's did you duplicate on CD?

I’ve been collecting records since the early 60s. I have 10,000 + of them. When CDs came out, I said I wasn’t going to rebuy my collection in yet another format. But after hearing what they sound like without any surface noise or other grunge, I began to relent. Now I have CD representation of a very large part of my collection. I’ve replaced whole catalogues, like The Beatles (together and solo), Kate Bush, CCR, King Crimson, The Kinks, Jimi Hendrix, Steely Dan, and probably others.

For those records that do not seem to make it to CD, I remaster my vinyl and make new CDs, with all the noises removed.

So, in answer to the question, way too many to list. Do doubles count, like if you have the MFSL or DCC remaster and the original?
Is this considered a sickness?

Actually, I sold most of them – at least, until the bottom dropped out of the “crappy vinyl” market, and not even the Salvation Army would take 'em.

Right now, I have my “obsolete” vinyl list online available for sale or trade. Every so often, I get a nibble…usually from Europeans. See anything you like?

Oh BTW, I was talking about replacing LP’s with purchased CDs, not burning vinyl to cdr (apparently there was some confusion over what the OP meant.) I’ve actually never copied an LP to CDR, although I’ve got a line on someone who will help me burn a few of my rarest, oop records…err, so to speak.

I know there’s probably more and there are more I’d like to convert. Anyone got a copy of Heads, Hands and Feet - “Tracks” they want to part with? Had that on 8-Track and recently tried ordering it through Amazon. After three months of backorder, they finally came back and said it was unavailable.

Do compilations count? I have bought some as the original albums aren’t available:

Brownsville Station:
Smokin’ In The Boy’s Room (The Best Of)

The Blasters:
Testament - The Complete Slash Recordings

Don’t laugh, but I also have a couple of The Archies and Partridge Family greatest hits CD. I still like that stuff. Kinda strange considering I’m pushing 44 in a couple of months.

Also sad is the fact that I’ve replaced these LPs with CD versions, I can’t bear to part with them. Even though my turntable has had a bunch of stuff stacked on top of it for several years.
