I just heard about poyz the other day.
What the hell, huh? You gotta drug your pet so he/she doesn’t annoy? Sheesh!
We are a spoiled lot, aren’t we.

I read it more as “Here’s something that will help your dog calm down in stressful situations, and another thing that may solve issues with habitual destructive behavior.”
The commercial I heard offered it as an alternative to training, one of those alternatives being “instant”. The easy way. It’s an extremely rare dog that cannot be properly trained. It’s instinct. It’s in their makeup to please, to fit in.
I won’t be surprised if this stuff becomes a social requirement, much like bleaching one’s teeth.
I shake my tired old head in wonderment.
It looks like a nutritional supplement, probably equivalent to a human drinking a cup of chamomile and eating a tablet of valerian. Nothing like quaaludes. Somehow, I think our society will survive this crushing blow.
And how you go from some obscure nutritional supplement having a website to some kind of canine Brave New World scenario eludes me. You can put a little more thought into this. I promise your head won’t explode.

“Poyz” sounds suspiciously like the first syllable of “poison”. They couldn’t come up with a friendlier sounding name?
From wonderment to exploding heads. Now there’s a leap.
And, I’d guess, a potential customer.
I can barely tolerate dogs, at best, and that’s if they’re especially cute. So, no. I just think it’s absurd that you’re outraged at this.

I have plenty of friends. I just wish my life were so great that the existence of nutritional supplements for dogs were my greatest concern.

But my greater (not est) concern is for the people who need (rely on) them.
