Ok I have a lump on the side of my neck. I just noticed it yesterday. When I woke up yesterday my whole body ached. The night before I worked out. I didn’t noticed anything when I lifted weights, but I got tried very fast when I ran. The next as I said I felt an ache through my body. When I worked out that night I got tried pretty fast. I noticed that my neck was tingling on one side and that is when I noticed the lump. I think it is one on my glands that is swollen. I don’t have a cold or a swore throat. I told my friend about this at work and she said she had a friend with the same symptoms, who died a year later with cancer.
Now, I think I probably just have a cold or some infection, but could this be cancer?
I had a lump in my neck, went to the doctor, and it turned out to be a fibroma, a small, benign tumor. Doc assured me that these lumps are very common and most such lumps turn out to be as harmless as was mine. Still, he told me I was wise to have it checked out.
Got an new appointment. I am now pretty sure it is not cancer. I woke up feeling much worse and the gland on the other side of my neck is starting to swell as well. I am have temperature and just feel all around sick. So I am guessing it is the flu, but I want to make sure.
