I am about to completely landscape my backyard and I would like to plant lumpy grass. I’ve searched google, garden message boards and even the straight dope archive, but to no avail. Does anyone know what I am talking about and if so, where to find it?
It looks like something out of a fairytale or a horror movie, but I love it because it is so distinctive AND it doesn’t need to be mowed. Hallelujah!
For any of you Newport Dopers, I first saw it when I lived in Newport Beach - it was on the last “flower” street towards the beach from the Five Crowns restaurant. Help me!
