So I found these these linen slacks(turns out they’re very much slacker, alright).
Description says: lightweight, easy fit slacks WITH 2 pockets, for women. Sack waist.

Huh?

So I consult the Lil’wrekker (my fashion guru, with all the answers).

She sez, “Oh, Ma…those are very In right now. A nice belt, a scarf or even just fold over style, you’ll like them. Yeah get 'em”

In a moment of weakness, I swear, I figure out the size I need, determine whether they might happen to be long enough to not wear out pedal-pushing, or capri-ing(?).

I totally missed the not fitted at the waist, thingy. And failed to hear the Lil’wrekker say, belt or scarf needed.

Yeah. These ain’t gonna work at all.
The fabric is nice, tho’ I doubt it’s really linen.
The length is ok-ish.
A bit highwater.

The waist is much more fabric than I imagined. I mean I could make a pillow slip out of the excess.
And I gotta bunch all this up around a spot that emphasizing is not something most folks wanna do.
And high.
I’m long waisted. If I put short straps on I could have a jump suit, WITH 2 pockets.

Ringy-dingy Amazon. Refund please.

Oh, reason? They’re just stupid.

I had to google it. On the models they look okay - not too one-size fits all. But if they don’t work, they don’t work. I rarely buy clothes online because I hate returning things.

It’s a pain alright.

But in this case they said just keep them. (Kinda cheap, I don’t spend very much money on clothing).

I think Amazon is still recovering from Prime week and just saying to everyone, keep it, donate it, or toss it.

If you do not need pockets, you can always get some “fisherman” pants. They are cheap, and usually come with a thin belt or ribbon to help secure them around the waist.
