We get NY bagels delivered. I guess that’s a luxury I enjoy. Sometimes Chicago Pizza too.
I’m dining at a swanky Italian place tonight. Three hour process, lots of courses, attentive service, fine wines.
Definitely a luxury to savor.

Expensive, but it’s the bomb. Definetly a luxury.
Belt drive, and the gears are internal in the rear hub. So no oil, no grease, no derailers. I wouldn’t mind a few more gears, but I’m really not in any hurry.
So far I’ve just been tooling around our neighborhood, so much fun.
Traveling with a teen, we always opt for a suite-style hotel room if there’s one available. Being able to shut a door and have two separate spaces is much nicer than everyone in the same large room with a couple of beds.
Likewise, when driving someplace for a trip of 3+ hours, we’ll rent a car. In part due to mileage and stuff but mainly because it’s just nice to get a slightly larger, newer vehicle to go vacation in.
We had a whole country-style ham from Suncrest Farms last year. It ran like $80, but oh was it delicious.

Pretty much anything: my wardrobe, hair, nails, dining, etc.
If I had the money, I would enjoy things like 4- or 5-star hotels with room service and first-class flight tickets.
I already mentioned massages in the other thread. Don’t have much money for them and usually end up in the local walk-in Thai massage place once every few months after a pub session.
High quality tea is high on my list. The highlight of my low-budget trip to Glasgow and Edinburgh last year (a research trip connected with bagpipes) was a breakfast at Glasgow’s Willow Tearooms designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. For a half-hour I was in heaven.
Speaking of bagpipes, if I had the money, I would buy a set of vintage Hendersons (a brand of bagpipe that used to set the standard for pipe makers). I might also start a small collection of vintage bagpipes, partly for research purposes (though not like my associate researcher A.H., who owns about 80 sets of bagpipes / bagpipe-related specimens!!!)
If money were no object, i would certainly fly first class, and stay in nice hotels. But sometimes the location of the hotel matters more than “how nice is it”. And I’m not a huge fan of room service. Maybe for breakfast, but I’d prefer to explore and be out of my room for other meals.
If money is no object, fly private jets.
That’s the whole point of this thread, though, isn’t it? What luxuries do you enjoy that are within your financial constraints?
Private jets are nice. You don’t need to deal with TSA, and they fly on your schedule. But they also have a much higher mortality rate than commercial jets.
And are supposedly much more ruinous to the environment.
That’s what I was going to say: what if money were no object, but there was still some concern for the environment (though not so much that you were going to eschew flying altogether)?
Also, there’s more overhead either owning a jet, or renting a private jet, than there is to buy a first class ticket.
My only personal experience with a private jet was taking the corporate jet, once. The route would have been awkward flying commercial, and we saved about a day and a half of travel time. And it was nice. But most of my personal flying is between major airports. Unless i was not only so rich i didn’t care, but also so well known that being in public were unpleasant, i think I’d mostly prefer first class.

I usually wait for sales though and generally buy a year old model which often fall in the sweet spot when it comes to value.
The two that come to mind are sushi and scotch. I can enjoy either that have a moderate level of quality, but get me the real good stuff and I’m in heaven.
I could also include steak. I pretty much only enjoy it if it is prime, which is expensive enough for me to consider it a luxury. I recently paid $38 for a prime (exceptionally-marbled) ribeye. For the record, I cooked it rare.
I’m more partial to open-back Sennheisers myself rather than closed models (that said I do have a pair of closed Sennheiser Momentum 4’s for TV), but yeah I willing to pay for premium headphones. I use headphones for most home audio these days, my speakers usually just sit quietly taking up space.
Ex Officio underwear. I consider $30/pair expensive but unlike all the other styles and brands I tried, I could finish a really long and hot hike with no rash, no chafing, no bunching, less swampiness. Started wearing them for all exercising. Now I wear them all the time.
Another benefit : they’re very durable. My first batch is 8-10 years old now but show no wear. Even the waistband elastic is still good.
