What’s the deal on this guy, anyway?
I dunno, but I saw him interviewed on tv once, and went, okay, he IS insane…
Saw one of his campainers once pawning of pamphlets that said “Al Gore is Pure Evil”. I bought one just so I could hang it up on my wall.
One of his minions sets up a table about three times a week at my college, with hysterical posters taped to it saying cryptic things like “Why the Queen of England is a drug pusher” and “We are all Greeks” and “The Evil Machine of Al Gore.”
Once when I was sufficiently bored and in the mood to spar with a wacko, I engaged this wild-eyed indidual in conversation. I learned a few interesting things, for instance, Mr. LaRouche apparently considers himself a Democrat. When I pointed out that the Democrats wanted nothing to do with good 'ol Lyndon, he informed me “there is a split in the party about this” Yeah, whatever.
Also, the world economy is set to collapes any day, and only Lyndons plan can save us. The Queen of England is somehow involved in this, though I never did get how.
Oh yes, and it is up to all of us to “organize”. When I asked what we were meant to do once we were organized, he just kind of gave me a confused look.
Lyndon also has a late night show on our local access channel, that I’ve flipped past a few times, though I’ve never been awake enough to make sense of what he was saying.
Well, I saw a guy sitting at a little table on the street with Lyndon LaRouche material (that’s right, in Montreal). And a lot of the stuff I agreed with (inflationary stock-market-generated bubble economy getting ready to collapse, bring back the Bretton Woods accord, etc.) Maybe they were just toning down the more insane things you’ve heard.
Ask a liberal Democrat, and he’ll tell you Lyndon LaRouche is a right-wing nut case. Ask a Republican, and he’ll tell you LaRouche is a left-wing nut case.
Both sides agree he’s a nut case!
His position is, essentially, that a cabal of Jewish and British bankers secretly rule the world.
My father is a registered Democrat who plans on voting Republican in the upcoming election. Since he was eligable to vote in the Democratic Primary he voted for La Rouche, in order to hurt the Democrats.
If you 'd like to get to know this psycho bastard a little better here are a couple links to sites run by LaRouche and his cronies. The Executive Intelligence Review is an on-line magazine published by LL.

Whatever else you may think about this guy, he certainly has an imaginative view of the world.
