I doubt there are 10 people on this board who knew who she was, but with her died Backlash LaRue and Morgan Mundane.
A guy named Steve Cannon was the afternoon drive-time announcer on 830 WCCO-AM out of the Cities for all of my growing-up years. He retired 10 years ago so Ma and the gang have been off the air for a while, but now she’s not coming back as Steve died of cancer yesterday.
Bummer.
