Craig Windham has died

NPR’s Craig Windham died unexpectedly yesterday of a pulmonary embolism.

I enjoyed his news reports, and until today I didn’t realize how busy he was outside of NPR.

Wow. I was also a fan. Damn.

Bummer. I loved his reporting too.

I thought they said something about this as I was driving home but I couldn’t find anything online. I liked him :frowning:

Wow from me too. I didn’t hear anything today, maybe they’ll have a tribute tomorrow.

:frowning:

rip

I saw this earlier, and instantly recognized the name. I’ll miss him very much.

:frowning:

He was one of their main voices.

Oh man! I will really miss him.

:frowning:

Rest in peace, Mr. Windham.

He was a consumate professional.

Wow - so sudden. He was great.

They did a short tribute to him yesterday evening, including listing his many interests and contributions beyond NPR. He was in the choir of the National Cathedral in DC! May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

Agreed. A loss for NPR, it’s listeners, and journalism. :frowning:

:frowning: One of the reassuring voices of NPR. He will be missed.
