Machete attacker gets shot on camera

Crazy stuff that takes place fairly quick into the video. What I found interesting was the conversation that took place after machete man plows through kicking the door wide open in no time, and wielding a machete heads towards the young man. He gets shot multiple times, but survives his wounds.

After the first 45 seconds, it’s mostly lots of moaning going on. Then at the 3:15 mark the following conversation takes place:

Man with gun: Breath. [trying to help machete man after shooting him]

Machete man: Oh god…you [inaudible] killed me. [more moaning]

Man with gun: What!..You were going to kill me!

Machete man: Yeah, you’re right, I was.

Man with gun: Well, then I did the right thing.

Machete man: You did.

I was more surprised that his door was made out of some sort of cardboard laminate. I mean, I knew doors were hollow, but if I knew they were that fragile I would’ve kicked down a house by now.

:smiley: Absolutely, but I guess for me, that was the second most surprising thing on the video. Gosh, he could have had 20 locks on that door, and still had the intruder get through in about five seconds, by a few kicks.

Third. I’m surprised a door that thin held the weight of the locks.

Looks like a seriously cheap door meant for internal purposes, not an external door which are usually a lot more solid.

I really want to know the backstory of those two guys. They obviously know each other by name. What makes someone want to hack you to death with a machete?

Quite likely the same reason the other guy had a gun handy and knew how to use it…
