Made me smile all day...

I walked into the library of my University today, and just inside the Career Center door, I saw the usual “Everyone Must Sign in Here” sign… Except they had accidentally flipped the G and the N in “sign”, so it read, “Everyone Must Sing In Here!”

So I walked in, pointed to the sign and said, “Everyone, huh? <ahem> I’M HENRY THE EIGHT I AM!.. Thank you…” And then I left… They really got a kick out of it. So did I, it’s made me happy all day.

I might have done a few songs from Weird Al’s “Running With Scissors” CD, but to each his own!
I wonder how many songs they got that day?

Zette

Zette: Did you read my post about the Weird Al chasing?? I’ve seen him twice this year, and in October I’m going to the San Antonio show and then following his bus to the Lubbock show. I might be able to find out where they’ll be stopping in Lubbock so that I and some friends can be waiting for them to get off the bus and play Hail to the Chief on my accordion with a chorus of kazoos. I really hope we get to do that, it’ll be so awesome.

At one show, a bunch of people were waiting outside his bus chanting “Weird Al, Weird Al!” and out of nowhere he ran out and screamed, “WHAT?!?!?!?” I wish I’d been there.

-Goldstein Out.

FarrisGoldstein, submit that to Readers Digest and get yourself $250 or $500 or whatever they’re paying now. That’s just the kind of thing they love to print.

:the above was intended with no sarcasm and no ill will; KneadToKnow happens to like Readers Digest:

Thanks for the thought, I just submitted it. I thought about submitting something not too long ago, but now I forget what it was…

I wanted to submit the dueling banjos thing, but it’s too scatalogical for RD. Maybe I’ll send it to Maxim.
