I’m not trying to railroad anyone to a specific decision; I just want see the votes being meaningful so that scum have less control over who gets lynched. If we all have one or two votes, it’s easy for them to push someone over the edge. If they have three votes, then it’s likely that the townies are driving it (although they could be wrong). Either way, it makes it more difficult for scum to hid in the reeds.
But by all means, vote for whomever you think best. Just make a case as to why others should also vote, because that gives a record of the rationale, and we can go back and see whose rationale made sense as a town, and who was dissembling scum.
It’s strange once I start being an active participant I start getting a huge influx of votes. I guess whatever I’m saying is coming off as scummy?
Oh well, if I am to be the sacrificial lamb so be it. But I should hope that not EVERYONE vote for me. Most likely a scum has already cast a vote for me, and it will be easier to narrow it down later if I have the minimum number of votes for a lynch, rather than 5+ or something.
Given you said you feel like a Noob, here’s some D1 advice: Hi, Neighbor!, it looks like your vote’s on Sunny Daze. With less than half and hour to go, you should move it just in case someone decides on last minute shenanigans and wants to change a vote.
And remember, a tie is decided by the number of post counts among the leaders.
Ok, that makes sense. I mean, I could just sit around and wait for my death, but my goal is to live and help town.
My only move at this point, with 20 minutes to go, would be to …
Unvote Sunny Daze
Vote Stranger On A Train
I believe that puts us both in a tie. Since I’m way behind in post count, my only hope is to have someone switch their vote.
I’m kind of sad we haven’t heard from **Biotop **since 8:12 AM this morning.
But I suppose **Stranger **is also a little sad that one of his votes is from Mahaloth, who hasn’t posted since 10:04 PM last night.
Not exactly going off the most recent, up-to-date information, if you ask me.
This is why I cast my vote when I did. I think it’s a bit in bad faith to cast a vote early and never come back to check on things, especially with the end-of-the-day flurry going on.
ETA: Corrected color on my vote. Used green by accident.
That’s the way it crumbles. If somebody else votes me, it’ll almost certainly be scum, although two of the voters are already possibles scum. I’m most disappointed that snfaulkner is not getting lynched, not because I have any particular animus for him as a poster but either way it turns out it gives useful information.
I could for sure protect myself by upvoting Hi, Neighbor! at the last minute, but I’m not going to do that because I don’t really think he’s scum and he’s already getting piled on with little reason.
The Town all gathered in the saloon, as was their wont, but things were different this time. Tenser, somehow, like everyone knew that someone had to die. In the corner, a pianoman was going through a repertoire of such timeless classics as “snfaulkner is a dirty rotten Scum”, “but maybe Mahaloth is his partner”, “but seriously, snfaulkner”, and “OK, anybody but me”. So busy was he with his piano-playing that he didn’t even notice the rest of the town gathering behind him with a noose.
