So I quote post 321 above. Stranger’s new, right? I don’t think that expecting people to shit or get off the pot is unreasonable as we approach end of day 1, and especially so if they haven’t seen how crazily things can change in the last few hours.

Okay. I’ve re-read and I like Stranger’s play less each time.
Calling anybody “likely scum” on Day 1, let alone assigning percentages, is a little over the top. Also encouraging players to get trains going. Stranger’s play strikes me very much as a “helpful townie” bit taken too far.

No, it was that. A townie’s most important job is to be on the record. Having a vote down, along with reasoning, is not whistlin’ Dixie. I don’t think a townie has any obligation to make sure he’s on a train at the end of the day.
