Oy, top. Top poster. I guess with all these God damn autocorrect and id10t errors, it triples my post count.
I’ll have to remember that, for the next time post counts matter. Pro-tip: auto-correct is your “friend”.
How’s it going?
I’ve been better. The silver lining is that my abs are getting a good workout from all the sobbing.
This is what I was worried about with lynching of **Biotop **and I expressed it in #575. He was the catalyst in a sense where he kept the conversation moving and shared his thoughts in a stream of consciousness type of way. Now that he’s gone, it’s basically just fluff with some votes thrown in.
BTW, snfaulkner, total post count is moot unless there is a tie in the current day. But I suppose you are aware of that, hence your recent flurry of activity.
Definitely, don’t let this game take precedence over your real life.
Of course, talking about your rl situations could persuade the others not to vote to lynch you.
I got a new puppy that keeps stealing my bath mat and shoes. I suffer too.
**snfaulkner **is really pinging me lately.
Currently he’s the only one to have (and will have) voted for town each of the first three days.
He voted for Stranger on a Train Day 1, **Biotop **Day 2, and now me Day 3.
He could have eliminated **Mahaloth **Day 2, but chose not to and cast the final vote on **Biotop **towards the end of the day. And it just so happens **Biotop **had **Mahaloth **in his sights pretty much the entire day. Seems like a convenient way to take out a threat that was focusing on one of his scum buddies.
I am unavailable now. At Cross country. Please watch for a scum pile on or last minute vote shenanigans.

I think this list is legit. Like, eerily accurate.
I still can’t wrap my mind around why scum would choose to NK **snoe **over snfaulkner. His high post count would make him too much of a risk if they had to go into a potential tie-breaker, no?
You’re spending way, way too much time trying to figure out why scum did what they did. There’s no way of knowing. Maybe snfaulkner is scum. Maybe they left him behind as bait. Maybe they flipped a coin. Maybe they have meta reasons. Maybe they know that we’d think that they know that we know what they’d think.
That’s the whole point of WIFOM.
Unvote Sunny Daze
Vote snfaulkner
He had a huge motive to knock off everyone with high post counts. Plus **Stranger **had him pegged for scum in Day 1, and **Biotop **was taking a serious look at him Day 2. Now they’re both dead, thanks in part to snfaulkner’s votes those days.
FWIW, I’ll make a list of players who feel are scummiest at the moment (scummiest being first):
- snfaulkner
- Mahaloth
- Johnny Bravo
- Knowed Out
- Sunny Daze
What it’s worth isn’t much, as you just got lynched.
Final vote tally:
Mahaloth: 0 (Johnny Bravo 598-620)
Hi, Neighbor: 3 (Knowed Out 599, Mahaloth 600, snfaulkner 638)
Sunny Daze: 0 (Hi, Neighbor 601-651)
Knowed Out: 1 (Johnny Bravo 620)
snfaulkner: 2 (Sunny Daze 623, Hi, Neighbor 651)
Day 3 post totals:
snfaulkner 7
Johnny Bravo 8
Hi, Neighbor! 16
Mahaloth 11
Sunny Daze 5
Chronos 4
Knowed Out 5
Hi, Neighbor, a Townie, is dead
This means that toMorrow would be 2 Scum vs. 2 Town. At this point, the total post count for Days 1-3 would resolve any ties. That total count is:
snfaulkner 93
Johnny Bravo 49
Hi, Neighbor! 51
Mahaloth 38
Sunny Daze 31
Chronos 17
Knowed Out 20
With these counts, Mahaloth and Sunny Daze could both vote for Knowed Out, and nobody could stop them. Scum therefore now control the vote.
Mahaloth, Vinnie
and
Sunny Daze, Books
have won.
Doh.
I’ll admit that I hadn’t thought through all of the implications of the tiebreaker mechanic. Scum always have an incentive to night-kill talkative players, which (as players in this game correctly realized) was made even greater by the tie-breaker. But what players in this game didn’t realize was that the tie-breaker also gave Town a greater incentive to lynch low-activity players. If Town had lynched Knowed Out today, it would still have been a mislynch, but it wouldn’t have been game over, and in fact, Town would have had a very good chance of winning.
Let’s play again!
Crap! Well, at least my Sunny ping was true…not that it matters now. That was a clean sweep for scum. How embarrassing
Thanks for the game, Chronos! It’s refreshing to get back to basics every now and then. Now to get caught up of at giraffe were the current game is anything but basic.
Wow, I won as scum. Very nice. Congrats, Sunny Scum partner.

My first win! Thank you Mahaloth Scum partner and all players.
