I’m having a lot of trouble keeping up with this game, I actually thought that the first vote was a random crapshot,I reasoned that just following the herd would be the smart thing to do…thing it was a way of not rocking the boat, that actual information would follow from the way players voted and the what alignment the lynchee turned out to be
I now agree that my playing style was weak and cowardly, but I still do not understand why It is considered anti town per definition,
I still have no idea who to vote, for retaliatory voting doesn’t seem to be useful.

Oh and a stupid question I wanted to ask , but kept forgetting:are we sure the scum already know who the other scum are? I mean we don’ t know for sure they can talk privately during the day right?

Actually, I also remember amrussell being accused of flinging poo in Evil Dead, but he really nailed scum with it. Big difference was that he posted reasoning why he targeted someone, asking himself for each of their actions ‘would they do that if they were scum’.
You claimed your vote for the player with the most votes was random. Really random would would pulling a number out of twenty. If everyone did that, it would become very hard to divine motivation (and try to find the scummy ones).

There is no need to try to crack codes be yourself: just ask them to explain themselves. At worst you we get a look at your thoughts to help decide if you’re town or not.
Typically scum and masons get the names of their group members in their role PM with a link to a private message board to talk on. But since we can’t be sure they actually are allowed to Day talk, it doesn’t harm to be on the look out.

as Seeker’s reasons for voting for him seem more or less random, and I despise random voting. Simple math tells you you’re more likely to hit a townie than a bad guy. Grr. So, yeah, I’ll try to get back in with a real vote before the day closes.
Having faced threats like this before, the simple town of Simpletown was quick to reach a decision, and not even a bit of bickering or last-minute hastiness. The decision to kill straggler was met with moderate support and more importantly, little resistance.
“Damn, killing off the new guy?” that’s cold opined a few.
“We’re nearly ALL new,” replied another. “Scum have to go, whether new or not.”
“Oh yeah. Good points.”
