Damn I have been stressing about getting killed all day…
It hasn’t started yet, if that is what you meant. And first night mafia killing is random, as most people have no clue who each other is, other than the mafia knowing eahc other.
Oh, and in case of confusion: No going “I know that X, Z, and Y are the mafia for sure” before dyng or afterwards. What an investigator would say is “I have under good authority that X is mafia, [proof]”. Small difference, but kinda crucial.
Everybody is usually supposed to pretend to be a townie, unless it is something like the example provided below.
Mafia/Special/Townies can pretend to be anybody for their various needs, but it’s evidence that is used to prove the person is really mafia/killer. A way Mafia can provide ‘evidence’ against a player who is mafia is vote for a teammate, saying that they investigated him and found he had voted for the person who died that night, and the teammate was out, indicating an involment of the killing of the player. Under that evidence, the town could lynch him and thus a mafia would die to help the other mafia people get suspicion shifted off them.
Or say, for instance, their are two investigators, to make this easier: Both investigate N and W, and find that N and W were out, indicating mafia/special. N and W voted for Y in the lynching, but Y was not lynched. Y ends up dead the next morning. Good evidence against N and W.
