Apologies that I haven’t been active over the weekend. I intend to make my presence felt today. I have not had a chance to catch up yet (which I will do now), but I am 100% against a No Lynch today, it is a BAD idea. Before I take the time to make that case, I will catch up incase the prevailing wisdom of the town has since changed, or someone has made a reasonable argument why a No Lynch is a good idea.
NETA: Oh, for the love of God, I didn’t even get to post Today. I thought we weren’t ending the Day early? I didn’t bother to check before I posted because of that. Good thing I didn’t waste my time explaining why it was a bad idea. :rolleyes:
Looks like unanimous is a bit of an overstatement. Can we open the day back up? Would that hurt anything?
Apologies for the joke vote. I wanted to stress my opinion that we need to lynch, but I didn’t really have any suspects. It was either a generic lynch vote, or or vote myself. Next time I’ll keep it uncolored.
Even if we can’t re-open the Day, could we at least get permission to discuss the No Lynch option? I would like to hear what Blaster has to say about it. And discussing it on Day 2 will be distracting.

Sorry, guys. Night’s night. You’ll have a long Day to discuss it then and we’ll revert the regular schedule (so, hopefully, no more surprises). I apologize if I ruined any plans, but I thought we had a strong demand to let the game move forward.
And Hawkeyeop: I suppose you’re right, I was considering only people who voted. Some did not vote. But, nonetheless, even if all the abstainers voted for one person, it would not have even come close to challenging No Lynch… hence my agreement to move up Night this time.
Fair enough, it obviously wouldn’t make sense for it to go back to Day, particularly if any Night action choices were already made, it may affect the play of those people negatively, causing them to either give tells they may not have otherwise, or simply lots of second guessing.
FWIW, I am a little miffed with the turn of events, simply because I’d intended to protest the No Lynch wagon that began before the game even started; however, I refrained from mentioning my reasoning prior to the start of the Day because I felt that it was not in the spirit of the game. That, combined with an early end, contrary to my expectations or I’d have made more of an effort to post over the weekend or earlier this morning. In the end, as was said before, this essentially results in a Night start. So I’ll let that be the end of it.
Ahem…we have dropped to halfway down the page, and no one has posted in almost 6 hours. It is only Night 1! Where is the drinking the party? No one died, we should be thrilled!
