Volunteering wouldn’t result in what the pro lynch people want, I would think. The thinking (please correct if I am wrong) is that we can learn something from how people act. The problem is there’s only one Mafia person to start, which is why people are pro no-lynch.

Black Chocolate Stout? Who makes that? Another good high-alc stout is the Left Hand Imperial Stout, also at around 10%. I also tried Left Hand’s double-bock Goosinator. Both are freakin awesome. Whee! I get excited just thinking about them.

Can someone explain to me as to why a nolynch is good now? What info would pop up overnight that gives us a clue of who to take down - aren’t odds are just as low for any of the scouting roles to take it? And if there’s no voting, then no vote history?

See my reasons for No Lynch in post 76. The key is there is no information we, the Town, can gain ToDay. The only info that can be revealed are slips by our Masons and possibly a forced role claim by one of our power roles.
ToMorrow, our power roles will have information to work with. Unless the Boss is insane, there will be two Mafia. That means they have a chance of slipping and giving us a clue as to who they are. So after ToDay, we will need to lynch. But not now.
And, screw the alcohol, nothing beats a hot cup of 50% cocoa for that smooth chocolate high.
Good God, people. We’ll have five days to discuss this, do we really need to discuss strategy and make votes that don’t really mean anything before the day starts? Patience!
fair point, i’ve never played in a recruiting game where there wasn’t a second scum team. It’s strange that theres only one bad guy out there. Still, if we all justgo down the no lynch route we may as well have had a night start. But as I think more I do tend to agree. All we do with day one discussion is let people act pro-town, because they are, until one of them maybe wakes up scum tomorrow
I was thinking more into the future, where maybe we could pick up inconsistencies between Day 1 and later on when some people will have been recruited in the meantime.
I’m scared of Dio’s drinks. Last time that led to waking up naked next to HM in a cage.
MMM, Youngs Double chocolate stout rocks my world. I don’t care for their oatmeal stout though. I much prefer Samuael Smiths for a good Oatmeal stout.
But it is too early in the Day for any of those. At Dawn you need something lighter and more refreshing.
Normally Guiness is my breakfast beer, but today is a special occasion. I think a little Bellhaven Wee Heavy is in order.
Now I just need to load me up a pipefull of some nice Dunhill tobacco (early morning pipe?) and watch the world go by.
