Mafia: The Mob is Recruiting [Game Finished]

Yes, but if you have been recruited, you would be significantly delaying how long it would take to out the godfather.

I think I’d be of much more use to the scum alive than dead, Hawkeyeop. But your questioning has been duly noted.

Or I’ll borrow Drain Bead’s highly functional scumdar.
Vote BlasterMaster.

vote Blaster Master, and there’s the slightest possibility he’s the mis-identified Boss.

Works for me…I’ll always take a softball.

Vote Blaster Master.

Obviously, you must have been recruited, because this is a lie. You are Scum!

Not only that, but a gutsy scum. You’d have to know that when I come up town, your head will be next on the pike. Even further, if you DID investigate me, and you ARE telling the truth, which you obviously aren’t, this move STILL doesn’t make sense because it’s clearly in the town’s best interest to find the Boss.

So, knowing that you’re lying, the only reason I can suspect you might make such a ridiculous move is because we’re close to nailing the Boss, so by sacrificing yourself in this manner, if you get lynched, you buy the Boss at least one more Night of recruitment, but if I get lynched, you buy him at least two more Nights to recruit.

So, I’ll be happy to put my neck on the line to prove you are scum, but for now that’s counter-productive and you KNOW that because it’s been discussed thoroughly already.

So my guess, this is probably a desperate manuever to distract from someone who was drawing a lot of suspicion yesterday. Combined with the hyper-defensiveness and the odd behavior, I’m inclined to believe it’s Millit. So I’m going to put my vote there and see what we can get out of her.

Vote Millit the Frail

We only have two choices here. Believe Drain or don’t believe Drain. If we weren’t going to believe her we should have killed her two days ago.

Hey, wow, look at the freakin sheeple here! No concern about if she was recruited AT ALL? No concern about finding the boss. We’re bloody-well doomed.

BlasterMaster was a power role. If he was a Mason, they’ve all been outed.

If you really knew I was scum, wouldn’t you be voting for me? Bird in the hand, and all that. This is why I’m voting for you rather than trying to find the Boss. And, as sinjin said, there’s always the chance that you are still the Boss.

You know you’re the walking dead, BlaM. Lie back and relax and I promise not to make it hurt…much.

What’s the logic in that. We’re going to assume that the scum won’t consider recruiting her at all? They have pretty much a 50/50 chance of recruiting her, assuming the Doc is randomly protecting between himself and her. Considering the risk is a 50% failure, the the benefit is avoiding the boss being detected at random and AT LEAST two more days of recruit attempts, it sounds like a pretty darn reasonable trade to me.

If you know I’m scum, then you’d also realize that I can be lynched at any time. The fact that you’d rather lynch me than attempt to find the boss is not only completely lacking in logic, but also completely lacking in any pro-town motivation.

You’re not the Boss, because I believe your original claim that you were the Detective which is why, as sure as I am that you’ve been recruited and I’d love to throw a vote on you, it’s counter-productive.

No. There’s a fair chance she’s been recruited since then. We’ve got BlaM in the hand. Why don’t we go after the boss, and -then- lynch him?

This

This is correct. Lynching scum who are not the Boss gains us nothing at this point in the game. The Boss will simply replace whoever we lynch.

We need to lynch who we think is the Boss.

FWIW, and I’m sure sinjin would confirm this anyway, but I’m not a Mason. I will not comment any further on my role since it’s NOT in our best interest to do so.

Correction: The Boss will attempt to replace whoever we lynch.

I think we’re far enough along to start a process of elimination. The following list does not eliminate people from scum consideration, only boss consideration:

Millit the Frail
Hockey Monkey
bufftabby
USCDiver [sub for Diomedes]
Drain Bead [sub for Idle Thoughts] Detective
MHaye
Menocchio
Santo Rugger
Pleonast Priest
Koldanar
Blaster Master Scum, not boss.
Hawkeyeop
HazelNutCoffee
Hotflungwok
Darth Sensitive
OneCentStamp
dotchan [sub for Freudian Slit after dying on Day 3]
sinjin
Hal Briston Priest by Bishop

What am I missing?

Sinjin is a mason. However, I could see scenarios where either Pleo or Drain Bead are the boss.

Remember, there is still a chance, albeit a small one, that BlaM is the mis-identified Boss. As such, any plan that involves weeding out other people to find the Boss could potentially be highly anti-town. If we get rid of a Consigliere, we break even for the Day (well, a little ahead of break even, given the 5% chance that each Consigliere gives of outing a random town role to the Mafia). If we focus our efforts elsewhere, we keep at least a Consigliere alive and could end up lynching town instead.

Also, Santo Rugger, you’re missing Menocchio as claimed Doctor.
