Great Job to the Town here, guys!
Now that I’m here, I can fill up the SdMB Games with my rambling Post styles too! So I look forwards to the 2 simultaneous games at once running. Though I do like the idea of a Newbie game running at the same time as a veteran game, to get some of the newer players up to speed.

Is there a game for people who have played a couple games but are still green? 
After following this game pretty closely, I’m ready to play!
I think part of the reason HazelNutCoffee and I were so in tune was that we were scum in the last game together. Most of what we were picking up on was easier since I was thinking: I would have never have done that as scum… etc.
It was rather eerie though.
I was in tune with NAF too for a while, but he died.
I’d like to get in tune with someone in the Batman game too. But I’m confused about that one. Perhaps I’m in tune with everyone then?
Oh, my f***ing god you’re here now too! I was wondering who the hell Mera Naam Joker, whom Dio referred to with respect to the off-board game, was. :smack:
Warning, warning, warning Wil Robinson!!! If Mera plays Mafia here the boards are doomed. They will fail under the weight of a single day of mafia play. Please don’t lynch the messenger. That is all.

And feel free to call me Roosh rather than Mera. **Dio **just happened to figure out the name I had hidden myself with the join the boards and made me into a Member. But I much prefer the name **Roosh **over Mera (as that one sounds feminine vs. My own name).
In the last game, I did feel like I learned a lot watching you and Pleonast play. I also felt like I had played a bit lazily and was still feeling guilty about it, so I put in a bit more extra effort in this game.
But also I think I was rather lucky in my guesses in this game - the slip that Hal picked up on was the bit I sunk my teeth into and refused to let go, simply because I’d made the same mistake as scum myself. The problem is that the comment could have easily be made by a frustrated townie, although they also would have justified it differently.
I have not been reading this game or the forbidden thread, so apologies if this has been covered. When is the next game slated to start here? As much as I do enjoy the offboard games, I miss playing here too. 
Wow, am I late to the party or what? I can’t believe I survived my first Mafia game. Sweet!

Well, you’re going to have to subscribe or your ability to post will be lost in the middle of the game (unless the board goes to pay-for-no-ads instead of pay-to-post before then).

A Town victory and some waterworks are all the present I need! But I would take a bright, shiny new pony or a trip to Disneyland, in case you’re wondering what to get me.

Wow! I check back in this morning and it’s over. Nice game us. Too bad I goofed up early and couldn’t be around for it. At least my lynch wasn’t in vain (though I regret distracting from the search for real scum).
Since I didn’t last long in this game, I hope I still have newbie cred. I learned a lot from watching the rest of the game develop and reading along in the Forbidden Thread and the Cheat Board.
Thanks for the game. My first suggestion would be to have the hitman start out as scum. Let the hitman kill nightly (or perhaps daily). Only let the godfather recruit nightly, so the scum get one recruit and one kill per night. If the hitman is killed, then the earliest recruit takes his role. The godfather couldn’t be replaced. This should balance the game better, and improve the pacing. It would also eliminate the chance of the the game ending on day one.
Sweet, my first Mafia win! Do I still count as enough of a newbie to participate in such a game? (Off board I’m maintainging a streak of dead by the end of the first day)
