CurtC, yes, that’s an important distinction, and sorry if my post doesn’t make that clear. The pulsed electromagnets have different electric field properties because the strength of the field is being cycled. A constant strength DC electromagnetic field will be the same as a permanent magnet field of equivalent strength and geometry.
Chiropractic isn’t a field based entirely on quackery and fraud; the problem is just that it’s not as well regulated as traditional medicine, so it’s very easy for quacks and frauds to get in. There are some things that chiropractic will do well, such as helping with joint pain. The honest practicioners don’t claim anything more, but the dishonest ones will claim that they can treat cancer, or AIDS, or whatnot.
Chronos, I respectfully suggest you look at the origins of chiropractic, and the claimed methods.
