Due to increased board speed messages are vanishing off the main page in matter of 1/2 hour or so during peak posting. Always having to scroll to the previous page is not very elegant. Why not make the main pages twice as long?
I, for one, don’t see any problem with things the way they are. If I’m looking for a thread that’s slipped off the front page, I just click to the next one, or if need be the next. If the first pages were longer, that would be more scrolling required, not less.
This forum had me flummoxed for a while, with all the stickies at the top taking up so much space, until I changed my options to suit. Now, I see more day-to-day threads before they drop to page 2.
