Make up an unhealthy dish

Shit. I shoulda read this before my previous post.

What? No cream cheese in them taters? Slacker.

We were trying to lighten 'em up for those who are on a low fat diet.

Is this thread making anyone else hungry?

Lots of credible candidates, but I’ll go with Deep-Fried Macaroni & Cheese. Second place would be corndogs.

Food. Of. The. Gods.

Though my head is turned by that bacon, o-rings, etc., sammy.

Sausages in heavy cream! Yummers!

Try the “Rothlis-Burger”, the namesake of Pittsburgh Steeler Ben Rothlisberger:

-from wiki. And I considering the shit that goes on sandwhiches in Pittsburgh (steak and cheese, fries, tomatos and coleslaw, all piled in the bun), this actually sounds rather light.

Southern-fried chicken fingers with a bacon grease and mayo sauce on the side for dippin’. Deep fried bacon on top of fried eggs served in a fried taco boat, topped with sausage gravy and crumbled pork rinds.

A New Zealand favourite: deep fried Mars bars.

I have often thought that battered, deep-fried cubes of New York cheesecake would be a tasty dessert.

Scotch Eggs!

Oh, wait, already invented? Damn.

How about…

Deep fried buttermilk pancakes with bacon cooked in, covered in butter, cheese, sour cream, and hash browns. With a fried egg on top. And covered in syrup.

Deep-fried triple-layer ice cream caramel swirl chocolate fudge cheesecake. With a brownie base and oodles of hot fudge sauce and ganache all around.

I was thinking Cadbury Creme Egg ice cream (full fat content, of course) with Cadbury Caramel Egg topping and Marshmallow Peeps for a garnish, myself. I like your idea though.

Can you tell that Easter is my favorite candy holiday?

A Monte Cristo sandwich, with the addition of bacon, and with lardy cake as bread. Battered and deep-fried, of course, and served with tons of jelly and maple syrup.

Bacon-wrapped, deep-fried banana-on-a-stick.
Mmmmmm…

Chili cheese shake. :dubious:

How about a bacon-filled cake?

Both of mine have peanut butter…

Cinnamon rolls with butter and peanut butter on top (yes, you have to eat it with a fork)
Peanut butter smeared on a plate with Karo syrup.

Both of these are from my childhood.

Yum

I think it only counts if you have actually eaten it. Therefore, I submit the treat of my college days-the fried honey bun.

Take one large honey/cinnamon roll, dripping with sugar and fat, split like a hamburger bun, fry in grease of choice (butter is best) on a standard short-order griddle, then top with ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream, nuts, and a cherry.

I’m still amazed that so few of my fellow students required cardiac bypass before graduation.

I was watching a piece on the local PBS affiliate about diners in Pennsylvania. One place served a hot dog, wrapped in bacon which is then deep-fried. I am not making this up.

I have personally deep fried cheesecake. Damn, it’s good, especially with a tempura batter and whipped cream and chocolate sauce. I suggest mushing the cheesecake into doughnut-hole sized balls and freezing them prior to frying.
I see your poutine, Bosda, and raise you four-cheese onion ring poutine with pastrami on top.
