Hey, Everyone!

I’m interested in making some casting of various body parts.

No, nothing like that! Get your minds out of the gutters! :smiley:

I’m thinking of castings of feet and hands. How would one go about that? Can anyone recommend any good books on the subject? Anyone have any experience with this and pass on some recommendations?

The finished product would be a casting, in plaster or other similar material, of a foot or hand, taken from someone’s body.

Any help here?

Most of the bigger art suppliers carry products just for this. Try 'Dick Blick" to start. If you can’t find it, let me know, I’ll try to dig up something.

Warmgun, thanks. I found the link to Dick Blick and can order it from there. It looks like there’s no local outlets here in Austin. I’m going to see if any carry the kits for making life-castings. Thanks!
