…
My height is missing you insensitive clod!
Hint:5’5"
5’ 6", according to a self-check with a tape measure & a wall.
depressingly short (5’6")
5’11’’. I’m winning!!
After robotically submitting my information, I’ve now become suspicious: for what purpose is this data being used?
Could be worse; you could be 5’5", like Hermitian.
MIT application.
Actually. I am not too into that anymore. Even if I get in, there may be a chance where I just go to a good, but cheaper school, to save money - maybe put more stress on the graduate school. I am not sure if I even want to go there because now I am thinking about going to Law school. I may want to become a lawyer as I have a passion to debate and argue.
Anyways, this data is being used to determine how tall people usually end up when they finish growing.
Confined to those on this message board who answer.
I think I’ve started growing again as the top of my head is pushing through my hair.
At 58 years old, I find that I’ve begun to shrink. I was a hair shy of 6’8" tall when I was younger, now I’m closer to 6’7", so that’s how I listed myself.
6’3". But my policy is never voting in public polls.
Yeah, if you really want to know there are far better sources of information than a message board poll. Here’s the CDC page on (US) body measurements. Open the PDF and go to Table 12 for the height of American adult men in inches. It includes both the overall mean (5’9.3") and a breakdown by race and age.
I’m almost exactly 6’0’’, and so is my arm-span from tip to tip.
I’m 5’10", which I believe is just about average for Canadian men. Oddly, I often find myself staring over the tops of the heads of the majority of people around me on the bus or train. I wonder whether the average height in the GTA is lower?
You’re square!
Persons 5’5" need not apply here.
I used to think I was 5’10" and a half, aka 180cm, but I was apparently inaccurately measuring, perhaps due to poor posture. I am, in fact, just over 5’9", or 176cm. Though it’s been several years since even that measurement, I may be shrinking for all I know.
5’10", exactly one foot shorter than my partner.
Quit yer complaining. 5’4 here buddy.
I usually average it out and say 6’1", but when I’ve gotten measured for physicals and such it has varied between 6’1/2" to 6’2".
For our metric friends, that’s 184-188cm, or ~185.4cm
