The copyright name doesn’t help, unless his parents really did name him Black Fighting Chicken (well, gamefowl) which is the reason I didn’t catch his name. Wasn’t expecting that.
The story also makes it seem that the guy is really gutsy, were the video I linked to shows that the hornet is pretty lifeless and the type of hornet isn’t that aggressive. But someone was having a fun time writing the article.
I don’t see the connection. It’s quite common for Japanese kids to keep kabutomushi and that is seen frequently in manga and anime, as it’s an iconic summer activity.
And it needs to be noted that the Japanese means herbivore, and the term “grass eater” is an additional insult added in English.
