To be fair, it felt more like that was about becoming the butt of jokes after his dare to the media and not being able to be taken seriously.

Bove is asking Daus whether the ideal is for a device that’s obtained to go immediately “in the vault,” but that sometimes there’s a lag time.
Some context: Bove is getting into the weeds of data extraction, deleted data and other weedsy info about phone data. Jurors are still following along, turning their heads between Daus and Bove as they go back and forth.
The commentators are thinking that the defence today was trying to put cohen and Davidson as extortionist and trump the unwitting victim. Trump always a victim.

Oh, shit. Someone will post a link to an article, I’m sure, but Trump just purposely mischaracterized the gag order as “not allowing me to testify” (paraphrased).
Even worse, he confirms this with his lawyer who NODS:

Daniels said Trump made telephone calls to her over the following year and she met him again at his request in July 2007 at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles to discuss her possible appearance on “Celebrity Apprentice.” Daniels said he wanted to have sex again at the hotel but she declined. She said Trump called her a month later to tell her he had not been able to get her booked on “Celebrity Apprentice.”
I won’t be surprised if we find out he had sex with Jenna Jameson and she’s under a similar NDA.
Yes. It’s important to remember that the purpose of the gag order is to protect the judicial process. It’s not punitive in any sense.
They certainly thought the whole thing was about the election.
