I’d toot my own horn saying that I thought it was fairly likely there’d be a verdict this afternoon but it doesn’t really matter.
This. These people no doubt know about Trump’s history of pointing his followers at his ‘enemies.’ Yet they looked at the evidence and convicted without regard to possible negative consequences to their own safety.
I could not admire them more.
Let this be the beginning of the end of Trump’s ability to bully and intimidate. Let this be the beginning of the end of all his influence and power.
He is not above the law. We’re over the hump, now: we know that he CAN be convicted of crimes he commits.

On CBC, former Republican candidate Joe Walsh says that this will strengthen Trump. As these are verdicts for crimes 15 years ago or so, no Republicans or independents will care.

Donald Trump’s motorcade is leaving the Manhattan Criminal Courthouse after he was found guilty on all 34 felony counts in his hush money criminal trial.
A large but relatively quiet crowd has gathered in the park outside the courthouse, where there has been a steady presence of demonstrators, media and police throughout the trial.
Several dozen people have also gathered at Trump Tower, according to a CNN team on the ground, which reports that most of the people there are curious tourists from overseas.
