And courts cannot reward an accused who intentionally pulls stunts to trigger mistrials.
He’s been whining for a while and assuring his supporters that Trump is their avenging angel. His hard core followers eat it up, but we’ve seen that this has been one of the many problems that has divided the Republican voters. I suspect Trump’s support among voters will continue to wane as we get closer to November. I’m obviously not 100% certain he won’t win the election because, you know, I don’t believe widespread voter fraud occurs, but I think as he continues to lose his mind he’ll lose support.
This is so much of a situation where I really wish the reputable media would simply fail to cover his ranting. No recordings, no pics, no video. If his self aggrandizement is “news”, that says little for the endeavor.

The only question any media will ask themselves is: “Will covering Trumps ranting make us more money?”

Well, its Thursday and no new emergency motions intended to delay the trial have been filed yet. It’s not quite noon, though, in eastern time zone, so there’s still hope. I expect tomorrow he’ll attempt to fire his legal counsel. Marchan won’t let his lawyers off, but there’s a non-zero chance Trump will attempt it.

This theory posits that there is some method to the madness of all Trump’s doomed motions and appeals. Namely it’s an attempt to corrupt the jury pool and convince one MAGA to get through jury selection and then nullify the verdict
It’s a bit “5D chess” for my liking, there may be some truth to it, but IMO the primary reason Trumps lawyers are filing all these is an unhinged Trump is screaming at them to do something and they are not very good lawyers

I’m sure he thought yesterday’s motion wouldn’t be heard and decided in just a couple hours, expedited so much that they pulled in a judge and set up a basement room as a hearing room because everywhere else was full. They’re all tired of his reindeer games, obviously.
i believe the judges (most of them) have his number and are treating him like they would a sovereign citizen.

For a guy who is so concerned about maintaining his macho image, his desperate motions to delay the trial make him look weak and scared.
The more motions he files that get rejected the more he can complain the the court is baised against him.
