Actually, Colibri, I respectfully disagree.
I think the discussion re: grienspace’s treatment is finished. The only reason this thread hasn’t died is because grien himself keeps bumping it. The first time was Jan 11: after 5 days with no further response. The second time was almost 24 hours after the last post and he posted just to “thank people for emailing him”. Come on. This is just fanning the flames of a long dead discussion. It seems to me like he’s milking this victim thing to death in this thread rather than looking for a calm clarification of a moderator’s actions (cf. matt_mcl’s thread).
Since the discussion of manny’s actions have already been discussed to satisfaction in another thread, I’m closing this one.
Grien, if you’re really a good poster who just got a raw deal then I’m sure you’ll soon take the chip off your shoulder and become a regular member of the SDMB community. But if you’re gonna keep riding the rebel-martyr pony over and over then expect quite a bit of eye rolling from mods and posters alike.
