Manti Te'o Picture - Real or Altered?

I’m interested to know if this picture is altered or not - specifically the two rays of light.

Link to Picture HERE and HERE.

Just a quick recap, Manti Te’o, a linebacker for Notre Dame, lost his girlfriend and grandmother about 10 days before the picture was taken - about two days ago (Saturday night). Notre Dame played Michigan at night, under the lights, and the picture was taken of him on the field from the stands (I guess). The two rays of light shining down on him symbolize his “guardian angels” - grandmother and girlfriend (says Te’o). I’m not sure of the source of the original picture.

I’m not interested in the religious aspect, just whether the two rays of light were added after the fact/altered or not.

Thanks

Looks to me like the picture caught two follow spot beams reflecting some haze, probably from a pyrotechnic that had been used earlier. I

would also point out that the beams are pointed toward the Michigan O-line more than #5. He may want to talk to Grandma and the GF about that.

I hope grandmother and the girlfriend do a better job as guardian angels then THEIR guardian angels did.

Classy, Revtim.

Hysterical Revitim.

Obviously all the other people on the team are related to immortals or maybe their dead friends and relatives just don’t care.

But seriously, to me, it looks like they were created with the dodge tool.
