Maps and the Internet help, please!

You can always print what’s on your screen by taking a screen capture first. On a mac it’s command+shift+3 (command+shift+4 is better as it allows you to select just the part you want by click/drag). Then double click the icon saved on the desktop to open. File>print.

This is kind of a dirty hack, I know, but it may work better for the OP if he is having trouble with printing from the site or the browser.

Website features that are Flash will not play on an iPad. This includes a number of graphic pieces on a lot of websites.

I suspect this is why there is an IOS app for maps on the pad/phones.

Thank you all so much! I was escorting someone to the hospital for minor surgery, so I’ve had no time to get back to it, but I think you have taught me some valuable things. The tiling, the zooming, the screen shots, I WILL be trying all of your suggestions!

I just want you all to know how much I appreciate you all taking the time to help me stumble forward. Every little bit really does help me. How awesome to be able to tap into such clever, knowing minds, with the patience to help a stumbler, (who can barely even describe the problem accurately!) Y’all rock!

Thanks. I keep insisting to people that I’m not as dumb as I look…

In the end, if you can’t generate a good map that shows what’s between Ranong and Langkawi you may just have to say Phuket.

sorry

Very ‘greasy’ Jack! But I likely! Well done!
