I had to look this up- Laura Richmond appeared as Jessica Rabbit (only referred to on the cover as “That Torrid Toon”) on the cover of the November 1988 issue. Disney had no comment on the matter, since as they put it, it wasn’t really Jessica Rabbit- just Playboy’s interpretation of her.
I’d buy it if it was Leela from Futurama.
Was Peggy Hill ever in consideration? Hey, if they keep those freakishly big feet “artfully” hidden, I’m in…
Hah, there are literally THOUSANDS of nude drawings of Marge online, most of them involving her and Bart having sex. Many were already around when I first got on the internet in 1994, and did my very first yahoo search for Simpsons websites.
Am I just crazy, or did Playboy actually put Cartman’s mom in a fake centerfold once?
If you want to see Lois naked, check out the DVD version of the episode where they smoke a lot of weed and become folk singers.
would you believe I found images of Marge and Leela nude together online?
Yes, you probably would…
Well, the Simpsons and Playboy both jumped the shark years ago.
And for my money, I’d rather see Lois from Family Guy.
It should also be pointed out that Marge has posed (clothed) for Maxim in the past.
This is just a marketing gimmick, of course, but it’s getting people to talk about both the Simpsons and Playboy- which I’m sure was the intention all along. Marge is pretty attractive for a fictional character, but I think she should have let her hair down for the cover- the beehive isn’t really that attractive. Maybe she will for the centerfold.
And here’s the 1971 cover it pays tribute to.
The issue has been released and the pictures can be found online- it’s certainly not what I expected. The illustrations (credited to layout artist Julius Preite) are certainly risqué, but not overly so. The centerfold depicts Marge sitting on a bearskin rug holding a pile of donuts while wearing a pink see-through dress which reveals her breasts underneath. The interview and profile are done in the typical Simpsons style, as Marge explains she’s no fan of Playboy and the only reason she did this “tasteful pictorial” was because she’s donating all the money she’s recieving for it to preserve historic gazebos.
The worst part is that, since there’s not even a mock-up cover in the piece, you can’t go hunting for the rabbit head!
I do like the fact that the picture has her holding a plate of doughnuts. And you can see Homer’s shadow.
Does the carpet match the curtains?
Or did they not go that far?
Marge has decided to keep that a secret- we can’t see that area in her picture.

More fuel for the fire. Of course No. 1 is Jessica Rabbit. Playboy also did a women of video games spread.
Any such list not including Betty Rubble has no credibility.
Is a link to much to ask for? Even a broken one?
Ah, found one: http:/ /community.livejournal.com/ohnotheydidnt/40203972.html
