Acting with common sense can vary with the environment. When an 11 year old gets gang raped, we don’t generally start the inquiry by asking what the 11 year old failed to do to avoid the situation. Typically I would think that would be the LAST place to look into, well before “what as a society do we fail to do that would allow this kind of thing to happen?”
So Shodan is okay with his adult friends raping eleven-year-olds. Or at least he’s okay with playing bullshit games that he thinks are clever.

No one began the inquiry in any such way. Read the linked thread - the first flurry of posts were all wishes that the rapists die or be imprisoned, as it usually is. margin says otherwise, but she apparently suffers from some significant mental illness or defect.
Do you really think lying thru your teeth like this helps anything? No one is defending the rapists, no one is making exuses for child rape, no one is blaming the victim. All these assertions are false, and clearly deliberately so.
And do you know the most unfortunate thing about it? The more you lie about it, and the more hysterically you rant, the more likely it is for someone who does not recognize your emotional and psychological problems to conclude that, on the subject of rape, some women get hysterical and lie. And that does far more damage to innocent victims like this eleven year old than asking “what the heck were her parents thinking?”

My joke was not about rape, incidentally, but about your posting style, which is that of a turgid (and I’m guessing extremely young, or at the very least severely immature) little bore on a Personal Mission who takes herself far, *far *too seriously.

No game playing - as is being repeatedly pointed out, it’s far from unknown for eleven-year-olds to socialize with nineteen-year-olds; as for your apology, I find it insufficient and insincere. Just get some fucking therapy and be quick about it.
margin can’t be that young though - I remember her from six-eight years back, and she was already an all-grown-up lady soldier then. The rest I couldn’t possibly comment on.
That reaction is not part of the inquiry. And even if it were, raising issues about what the 11 year old might have done to avoid the situation should NOT be on the table before you exhaust questions about the circumstances and the failures of all the adults in the circumstances.
But this was not done. Instead, some people started raising the issue of the 11 year old’s behavior very early after the initial thread outrage. Page 1 of the thread begins the inquiry into the question of how responsible the 11 year old child was for this gang rape.
